🔹 Step 1: Open the Official
Website
- On your Mobile/Laptop, open Google
Chrome (or any browser).
- Type ICP Smart Services
in the search bar and press Search.
- Click on the first official link — it should be titled:
👉 “ICP Smart Services – Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security”
(Official link: https://smartservices.icp.gov.ae)
This is
the official UAE government website for checking visa validity.
🔹 Step 2: Go to File Validity
Section
- Once the website opens,
scroll down to find Public Services.
- Tap on Public Services
→ then select File Validity.
- A new page will open with
several options to check visa or residency status.
🔹 Step 3: Choose “Passport
Information”
- Under the options, choose “Passport
Information”.
- Then select “Visa”
(not Residency).
This means you’re checking a visa, not a residence permit.
🔹 Step 4: Enter Your Details
Now, fill
in the required fields carefully:
- Passport Number (exactly as printed on your
passport)
- Passport Expiry Date
- Nationality (select from dropdown list)
Then tick
✅ “I’m not a robot” and tap Search.
🔹 Step 5: View Your Visa Result
After
searching, scroll down to see your visa result.
You’ll
see:
- File Number
- Emirates Unified Number
(UID)
- File Status (Active / Used / Cancelled
/ Converted to Residency)
- Visa Issue Date
- Last Date to Enter UAE
🔹 Step 6: Understand the Status

✅ Final Tip
If your File
Status = Active, your visa is real and valid.
If it doesn’t show any result, contact your agent or verify again using File
Number or Emirates Unified ID
