🔹 Step 1: Open the Official Website

1. On your Mobile/Laptop, open Google Chrome (or any browser).
2. Type ICP Smart Services in the search bar and press Search.
3. Click on the first official link — it should be titled:

This is the official UAE government website for checking visa validity.

🔹 Step 2: Go to File Validity Section

1. Once the website opens, scroll down to find Public Services.
2. Tap on Public Services → then select File Validity.
3. A new page will open with several options to check visa or residency status.

🔹 Step 3: Choose “Passport Information”

1. Under the options, choose “Passport Information”.
2. Then select “Visa” (not Residency).
   This means you’re checking a visa, not a residence permit.

🔹 Step 4: Enter Your Details

Now, fill in the required fields carefully:

• Passport Number (exactly as printed on your passport)
• Passport Expiry Date
• Nationality (select from dropdown list)

Then tick ✅ “I’m not a robot” and tap Search.

After searching, scroll down to see your visa result.

You’ll see:

• File Number
• Emirates Unified Number (UID)
• File Status (Active / Used / Cancelled / Converted to Residency)
• Visa Issue Date

Visa Status	Meaning
Active	Visa is valid – you can travel to UAE.
Used	Visa already used – holder is inside UAE.
Converted to Residency	Visa changed to residence permit.
Cancelled	Visa is cancelled – not valid anymore.
Nearly Expired	Visa is about to expire – renew soon.

If your File Status = Active, your visa is real and valid.
