  3. Tap the link that opens — it should bring you to the same MOFA result page with the visa details. This is a quick way to confirm authenticity without typing numbers.

How to tell if the visa is original

  • If the MOFA page opens and shows matching details (name, passport number, visa type, place of issue), the visa is almost certainly genuine.
  • Check that the visa application number on your copy matches the number shown on MOFA.
